You and your mentee can:

• Write an original story that you and your mentee can read over and over again.
• Create a scrapbook.
• If you are teaching your mentee another language or your mentee is teaching you, and you can’t find a book you like, make your own bilingual book.
• Create a book loaded with photos and fun captions.
• Use it to document a project or science experiment that you work on.
• Make up images to go with your mentee’s favorite song lyrics – have your mentee draw some pictures and scan them in or take digital photos and incorporate them.
